Townhome Transactions of the week: September 8-14, 2024

A total of 59 Two-Storey townhomes were sold in the week of September 8-14, 2024. The highlight of this week’s townhome sales, in our view, is an Urbandale 2019-vintage ‘Santa Maria’ corner townome in Bradley Commons, Kanata South-Stittsville. It was sold for $740,000.

The townhome features a 2-car garage and 2,077 sq. ft. of living space across three floors. This house was sold by Urbandale as an inventory home in 2019 for $461,900. Note that this is the ‘old’ Santa Maria, which only has 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, along with a loft.

Urbandale has now redesigned the Santa Maria model, and has a beautiful model home in the Bradley Commons community in Kanata South / Stittsville. It’s worth seeing! The house is now significantly bigger and the layout has been completely redesigned. The new Santa Maria features larger windows, a new stairwell & entry design with large mudroom, larger kitchen, separate living & dining spaces, and 4 bedrooms + 3 bathrooms + loft on the 2nd floor. To the best of our knowledge, the Santa Maria is the only production townhome with this many spaces on the 2nd floor.
