During the week of March 1 – March 8, 2026, a total of 124 (compared to 127 last week) homes were sold in Ottawa. Of those, 24 homes sold for over $1 million, compared to a total of 21 such sales the week before.

Crown Jewel Sale of the Week:

The most expensive home sold in Ottawa this week is a 1930s single-family residence located in the prestigious Glebe, just steps from Dow’s Lake. It offer 2,130 sq.ft of living space above grade, with 4 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Originally listed on February 24, 2026, it sold firm on March 2, 2026, for the full asking price of $1,695,000. This week’s champion of townhome sales, is A 2018-built HN’s “Brighton” model recently sold for $702,500.

While Ottawa is seeing a modest uptick in inventory, the majority of homes are trading at reasonable market value. That said, we are still seeing standout results for premium properties; for instance, the Monarch 40′ Aspen and Tamarack 45′ Oxford models are selling above previous benchmarks. In these cases, the meticulous upkeep and pride of ownership shown by the sellers have clearly justified the stronger sale prices.
