一扇大双开门把我们带入室内,门厅(foyer)的两层挑空不仅增加了房子的设计和空间感,还给一楼二楼带来了更多的自然光。升级的12X24的地砖和黑色的门把手映入眼帘,让人瞬间感受到房主对完美和细节的追求。

房子的前面(the front of the house)的面宽,分给了约18尺宽的双车库,foyer,和一个开放的次客厅。双开门的大玻璃以及次客厅朝着前院方向(前院朝西南)的大窗户,给这个精品屋带来了充足的光线和温暖的午后阳光,让整个房子从早到晚都能沐浴在阳光里。有地主朋友跟我讨论过后院朝东的房子的日照情况,我在体验过很多东西向的房子之后,得出这样的结论:后院朝东,前院朝西的房子,只要前院一侧如328一样,有一个次客厅或者书房拥有足够大的窗户接收下午的阳光,东西向就是很好的朝向,这样后院早上有阳光,下午就可以自由地烧烤了,想晒太阳就可以去次客厅,这一点townhouse和小独立屋是做不到的。

328 Percheron Way有两个客厅和两个餐厅,属于能穿越时空的经典设计。经典户型在分区细致的情况下,如果墙面太多则会让房子显小,而328 Percheron在有功能分区的前提下,保留了足够的开放: 房子从foyer到后院,从餐厅的靠外墙的一侧到mudroom,从厨房的炉子一侧到客厅的壁炉一侧,都有很长的视线(sightlines),房子显得开阔,明亮,空间感很好。

厨房是非常细心的双色搭配,上柜有两组玻璃柜门作为点缀;橱柜,背板(backsplash)和地板的颜色自然流动,融合在一起, 和谐美观。整个厨房有非常多的储物空间和充足的台面。水槽位于大窗户的下面,洗菜的时候,抬头就可以看见后院的小果园。厨房的边上是有落地玻璃门的早餐厅,一家人围坐在这里其乐融融。早餐厅的另外一侧是同样拥有大窗户的主客厅,46寸的现代壁炉和漂亮的壁炉墙是主层的聚焦点 (focal point)。

328 Percheron Way, the Friesian这个户型最独特的地方,是不仅有一个漂亮的U形楼梯,而且非常有创意地在一楼和二楼之间设计了一个下沉式, 有挑高顶的开放厅 (loft),完美地摆脱了经典户型很容易拥有的雷同感,让这个户型与众不同。对于居家办公的地主朋友们来说,这是一个非常惬意的办公区域,或者它也可以成为孩子们的图书馆,娱乐区等等。

这栋房子二楼靠后院的一侧的空间全部给了主卧。推开双开门进入主卧套间,首先看到的是步入式衣帽间,衣帽间的一侧是拥有两个大窗户,宽敞明亮的卧室,而另一侧是一个人见人爱的主浴室,来开放日的很多地主朋友感慨这个主浴室就是他们梦想中的那种样子:两扇大窗户的下面是按摩式大浴缸,在家享受放松的时刻;淋浴房有两面是玻璃,增加了通透感和光线,宽大的石英台面上有两个台盆。

二楼面向前院的一侧,在挑空的门厅的两边,各有一个卧室,其中一个是第二个套间,这个套间空间宽敞,拥有一个能多个方向收入阳光的飘窗,独立拥有的卫生间有一个朝南的窗户,温馨,舒适。

门厅挑空的另一侧是二楼的第三个卧室,它和位于侧面的第四个卧室共用一个宽敞的Jack and Jill卫生间。很多家庭卧室数量足够,可以一个孩子专用这两个房间和卫生间,这个区域就可以成为一个有卧室有书房有卫生间的豪华套间。

328 Percheron Way的地下室没有装修,拥有四扇大窗户,给未来的新主人留下了按自己的想法布局设计装修的可能性。另外值得一提的是,去地下室的楼梯位于一楼的一角,靠近mudroom的地方, 如果有的家庭有计划将地下室分租出去,租客可以从车库经过mudroom 进入地下室,对主人在楼上两层的生活影响很小。

328 Percheron Way拥有一个空间大而开阔,打理维护得很好的后院。后院布局合理,有大deck和gazebo,patio,烧烤区域,储物的大shed, 还有一个小果园。 而院子的中间是绿茵茵的草地,可以给孩子们嬉戏玩耍。

房子的主人时时刻刻都在精心维护他们的家。这栋独立屋不论社区,房子位置,房子结构,空间功能和颜值都是精品,不需要做任何工作即可拎包入住。在这里做开放日的一个下午,感觉到房子的前后都非常安静,门口的Percheron Way很少有车辆通过,邻居的前庭后院都看得出来是精心打理过的,都是用心生活的好邻居。
